Nia Long turns 50

The beautiful Nia Long made her film debut back in 1991 as Brandi in John Singleton’s, Boyz N The Hood. Since then, she has been a force in Hollywood. Although she is loved for her predominantly Black cast romcoms like Love Jones and The Best Man, she has an impressive resume of crossover films and television as well.

Nia is skilled at being the Bitch that fans still love at the end of the movie. Throughout the years, she remains one of the ageless beauties’ fans love to see on the big and small screen. She has a knack for making guys swoon while managing to be a girl’s girl.

The Scorpion fox celebrates her 50th birthday, the day before Halloween. She is the proud mother of two sons. Even though she lost her father at the beginning of the year, she still has a lot to celebrate.

This year we saw Nia Long in The Banker on Apple TV, and Black AF and Fatal Affair—both on Netflix.  All three productions add value to her esteemed body of work. Then in February of this year, it was announced that Nia would star in and produce Dreams of the Moon. This film, based on a true story, does not have a release date yet but is in pre-production.

She has always been one of my favorite actresses with some of the most memorable scenes in film history. In spite of her beauty and sex appeal, she still seems down to earth and loveable. Her movies are some of my favorites and I look forward to what she has to come.

Happy Birthday to the gorgeous and talented NIA LONG!
