This is one of my favorite quotes about life. I would give this advice to every high school and college student I know to prepare them for work. It is a dog eat dog world out there. I have learned that everyone gets what they deserve in the end. How you treat people reveals the life you live. When you treat people good, they remember it when it counts. When you treat people bad, they can’t wait for the opportunity to repay the favor. I can think of a number of bosses who lost their positions over the years- men and women alike- who treated their staff poorly. When they were terminated, no one checked in on them. They left with no references to help land their next job. In most cases, they had to start over. In almost all cases, they started over never learning the lessons of their past.
